Trip to the States in November ~ Recap

In early November, Andrew and I flew to the Northeast to visit our sorely missed homeland and enjoy an itinerary full of fun.  It was a little strange to be "going home" without going to our actual home with our families in the Northwest, and compounding that we flew in and out of Toronto of all places.... long story.

After arriving in Toronto we drove past Niagara Falls and through New York with Philly as our fiirst destination. Normally I would say that a flight would be preferable to a six hour drive, but we were both overjoyed to be on the open road driving through quaint farmland and rolling hills painted with vibrant fall colors- too different from Korea to even bother counting the ways.

We arrived in Philly for a reunion with Gonzaga buddies before Matt and Giselle's wedding festivities the following days.  They got married near New Hope, PA at a charming B&B and the group of guests could not have been more joyous or ready to celebrate!  Fantastic party.

Next stop was CT to see Andrew's god-family for lots of catching up and some truly divine pizza, among other great things.  Following that, we drove to Cooperstown to see the Baseball Hall of Fame.

Last stop was a few days in Toronto, touring a city we might not otherwise have visited.  This recap barely skims the surface of how fun and familiar our trip was.  Let's just say it was borderline excruciating to say bye to friends, burritos, and Target for another year and a half!
