Thanksgiving ~ Recap

Our tearful goodbyes with friends in the States weren't so tearful with longtime buddies Brad and Kyra.... because they came to visit us in the ROK for Thanksgiving.  It was refreshing to say "see you in a week."  After a massive brainfart by Delta they finally arrived at Incheon Airport in Seoul for their week long stay, and they hit the ground running, with the only minor setback being naughty Kim Jong Il and his cohorts causing international tensions and the cancellation of their DMZ tour.  Brad and Kyra are the perfect mix of adventurous and laid back and we're determined to travel with them next year for their annual Thanksgiving travels.

B&K also make excellent models for our favorite restaurant in Korea: the chicken trailer (in Korean the restaurant is called dak galbi, or chicken ribs).  It's a metal-sided prefab building on a gravel lot but they serve a spicy heap of boneless chicken and cabbage goodness with rice and sweet potatoes, yum!
