Today there was a big Christmas party for the whole Battalion and their families at a hangar. Santa flew in by helicopter and set up his "house" inside a different Chinook. His elves were chosen from the ranks of the Battalion soldiers as the men who would look the best in green tights and a skimpy tunic (rather, the soldiers contributed money toward the person they most wanted to see in tights and a skimpy tunic). Guess who was one of three elves? Yep, Andrew elfed himself.
Awesome. Someone has a new career ahead of him when he gets out of the Army...at least the month of December. I'm sure the money will go to a good cause and everyone got a good laugh! Merry Christmas!
