This group of Freshmen was our last class Friday night. Kate was tired of teaching for the week so she turned the lesson plan over to me. I pulled up a map of the US on the projector and taught them NBA cities and mascots. Vital information.

At the center of Shenyang there's a statue of The Chairman. Each time we passed it, Haley would say, "Ni hao, Chairman Mao."
We went out Friday night to Korea-town. Here we're at a bar with our own little room, couches, and a curtain. Once the drinks began to flow...
...it was time for some Karaoke! The poor staff (the bar was empty) had to listen to us plow through 2 hours of off-key 90's music.
Before entering the Forbidden City (a smaller copy of the one in Beijing - the Chinese capital used to be in Shenyang back in the day), we stopped for a photo-op from a guy selling these furry hats. Haley made the mistake of asking what kind of fur. Dog.
